Delivered yoga again at Men’s Voices that the Central Co-op team puts on each year for colleagues and community.
They do a grand job talking about men’s mental health, which can be very hidden at times. Also they incorporate a physical activity into the day with a choice of activities such as yoga.
We had a conversation around
those little aches and pains in neck, shoulders, back or knees, normally made worse through poor sitting postures, too much laptop work (without a break) or even pure strength-building hobbies.
It’s usually only when the little niggles of pain start to get worse over time, that we actually start to think about doing something about it.
My answer is incorporate something that focuses on body alignment, stretching, physio muscle massage- they are all great ways of combating overuse of the muscles… 💪🏼…
