Yoga is about shaping your day to day not just your body…
How has yoga transformed your day? For me it’s the deep breaths when you’re juggling the background noise of the kids walking into the house; “Shoes off! Wash your HANDS!”… dog escaping out the door… husband entering the house after a hard day - a husk of the version you remember from the weekend 😂 Me breathing and slowing down, brewing a tea whilst making the tea (god bless the rituals) feeling my feet against the ground whilst I put on my make up… it’s all the subtleties we allow ourselves to feel; just like when we are on our mats… it’s not how deep you can go into a posture but how much awareness we can bring to it, to notice the sensation of that moment.
So other than not wanting to drop in to my house at at 4pm Mon-Fri 😆 what have you learned from your practice? You don’t have to respond on here.. but it might be a nice thing to ponder on a Sunday evening before you start another week.
