Our residents had the most wonderful time at Colourbox Montessori School at cherry trees today! 💕
We shared a beautiful story about kindness with the children and joined in singing all their favourite songs. 🎶

The children surprised our residents with the most thoughtful gifts — handmade pictures, flowers, and a box of biscuits. 💐🍪 Their warmth and kindness truly touched us.

A huge thank you to all the children and staff for making us feel so welcome. We can’t thank you enough for such a lovely afternoon. 🥰
We’re already looking forward to creating many more memories together.

This morning we took a lovely walk into the village to attend the Remembrance Service at the Risby Memorial. We watched as the wreaths were laid and joined in singing the National Anthem.

🎃 Happy Halloween from Risby Hall! 👻

It’s been a fantastic week here — full of fun, creativity, and plenty of spooky spirit!

We’ve been reminiscing about autumn, exploring the textures and colours of the season with our sensory pumpkins and gourds, and enjoying a delicious homemade pumpkin pie, freshly baked by our wonderful chefs.

There’s been great Halloween music sessions, plenty of fancy dress and silly headbands, and lots of laughter! Residents have enjoyed a lively game of bingo, made witches’ hat cupcakes, ghost hanging crafts, and even created a beautiful swan and a brilliant Frankenstein from pumpkins.

To finish the week, our amazing kitchen team put on a truly spooktacular supper. What a fabulous celebration of autumn and Halloween! 🎃🕸️🦇
