The picture attached was taken at New Wine 2025, where our team partnered with an incredible group of volunteers to deliver a truly holistic medical service for more than 15,000 people over the course of a full week.

Together, we provided:

✔️ Compassionate, patient-centred care
✔️ Expert ambulance and pre-hospital emergency provision
✔️ A fully integrated, co-ordinated medical response designed around the needs of the community

👨‍⚕️ Meet Eddie – one of our newest Emergency Medical Technicians at MK Medical.

Eddie brings with him a wealth of skills and experience that make him an outstanding clinician, but today we’re not celebrating his medical expertise… we’re celebrating his art. 🎨

Outside of work, Eddie is a talented artist, and we’re absolutely delighted with his latest piece: a hand-drawn illustration of our ambulance MK-02 🚑.

It’s not every day you find someone who can deliver first-class patient care and capture the heart of our service on paper. Eddie, we’re thrilled to have you on the team – both for your professionalism and your creativity. 👏

What a weekend for the MK Medical team! 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

Over just a few days we had the privilege of covering:

🏈 Hard-hitting American Football clashes
🏉 Premiership Women’s Rugby action at its finest
✈️ The Sherburn Aero Club Summer Event (back for our second year running – we must be doing something right!)
🩹 And welcoming a brand-new squad of trained Rugby First Aiders, ready to step up when it matters most

It’s not every weekend you go from scrums to scrambles, or from try-lines to take-offs — but that’s what we love about event medical cover.

Different sports, different settings, same mission: making sure everyone enjoys their day safely. 💪

Huge thanks to all the organisers, players, supporters, and new first aiders who made this weekend one to remember.

Fun Fact Friday! Did you know that in 1965 an ambulance service in California experimented with playing music instead of sirens to calm traffic? 🎺🎵
Turns out blasting jazz didn’t clear the roads quite as fast as “nee-naw nee-naw”… so the idea was scrapped. 🚑💨
