🎉🚶‍♀️ Chloe’s Sponsored Walk – Part 3: The Finish Line! 🎉

She did it! 🙌 Chloe has completed her 6-mile sponsored walk in support of Spaces, and we couldn’t be prouder. After weeks of training and a whole lot of determination and confidence, Chloe crossed the finish line with a huge smile and a crowd full of support💙🌿

💷 Chloe has raised an amazing £268.50 for Growing Spaces!

In this final part of our video series, we join Chloe at the end of her journey to reflect on the challenge, and the incredible support she’s received along the way.

💬 “Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sponsoring me and believing in me. Thank you for all your support to help my group at Growing Space. Here’s to the next challenge—for the foodbank I volunteer in!” – Chloe

Over the past few years, Chloe has made incredible progress with her fitness and wellbeing. Through daily walks and healthy habits, she’s built up her strength and confidence, culminating in this amazing achievement. One of her biggest goals was to walk from home to Alexander House, and she proudly accomplished that during this challenge.😊

Her team has been behind her every step of the way, and we’re all so proud of what she’s achieved ❤️.

👏 A massive well done to Chloe for raising awareness and funds for a group she’s truly passionate about. Your motivation and commitment have inspired us all!

🚶‍♀️✨ Chloe’s Sponsored Walk – Part 2: On the Move! ✨🚶‍♀️‍➡️

Chloe is officially on her way! She’s taking on a 6-mile walk to raise money for Growing Space , a social enterprise shop in South Wales that’s part of a mental health charity. 🌿💪

Chloe became part of Growing Space in April 2024 and has loved getting involved in the weekly cookery sessions. She’s already achieved part of a credited qualification in cooking with vegetables and is well on her way to earning more! 👩‍🍳

Her sponsored walk idea came from seeing the dedication of Lynn, who often uses her own money to keep these sessions running. Chloe wanted to do something meaningful to support the group and help ensure these classes continue for everyone who benefits from them.💜

She’s halfway there and smashing it and has raised an incredible £268.50! 🎉
In this second part of our video series, we catch up with Chloe mid-walk to see how she’s doing and hear how she’s staying motivated.

💬 What are your go-to songs to keep the good vibes pumping? 🎶👇

📺 Part 3 coming soon, where we’ll celebrate Chloe crossing the finish line and reflect on her incredible achievement.

🌟 Celebrating 20 Wonderful Years with Non 🌟

Today we had the absolute joy of celebrating Non’s incredible 20 years of service with Partnership of Care. Over the years, Non has worked in several of our houses, bringing her warmth, humour, and kindness to so many lives. She’s now happily settled at Bedwellty House, where she’s formed wonderful connections with the men she supports and her colleagues alike.

When Non arrived today, she admitted she’d been a little nervous, she thought she might be in trouble or even being let go because of her age! Of course, it was quite the opposite. We were there to celebrate her dedication and thank her for everything she’s done.

Non was presented with beautiful flowers, a box of her favourite biscuits, a £50 M&S voucher, and a card filled with heartfelt messages from her colleagues across the years. True to form, after a few happy tears and plenty of laughs, she headed straight back to her shift, because that’s just who Non is.

And in even better news, Non has decided she’s not slowing down any time soon! She’ll be returning to full-time hours from Monday and says she has no plans to retire, she’s looking forward to the next 20 years doing what she loves most.

💛 Thank you, Non, for your dedication, your kindness, and for all the care you’ve given over the years. You’re truly one of a kind.

✨ A Holiday to Remember ✨

We couldn’t be prouder of Shaun, who is currently enjoying his very first trip abroad with the support of our team! 🌍✈️

Shaun has been with Partnership of Care for over 10 years, and while he did travel as a child with his dad, this holiday in Spain marks a truly incredible milestone. 💙

From bingo and karaoke to quizzes, clubbing, and making new friends, Shaun is soaking up every single moment. He’s found his place, becoming “one of the boys,” and it’s been incredible to see his confidence and joy shine brighter each day. ✨

For his family, this is more than just a holiday, it’s a moment they never thought possible. They are overjoyed, overwhelmed, and so proud of everything Shaun has achieved. Even social services have shared how moving it is to see his journey unfold.

And for us, as his care team, it’s a reminder of why we do what we do. Moments like these. milestones, memories, and laughter-filled days, are what make everything worthwhile. 💫

Here’s to Shaun, to growth, and to living life to the fullest. 🌞🥂

🎉🏍️ A Birthday to Remember! 🏍️🎉

This week, Josef reached a very special milestone, his 18th birthday.
Josef has an absolute passion for motorcycles. The very sound of engines roaring in the distance makes his face light up with joy. Bikes bring him comfort, excitement, and happiness like nothing else. So, when his support team began planning his birthday, they knew it had to involve the thing he loves most in the world.

They reached out to Biker Escorts South Wales with a heartfelt request:
It didn’t need to be anything grand, even just a couple of bikes riding past with their lights on would have made Josef’s day unforgettable. All they wanted was to give him a moment where he felt truly celebrated and seen, surrounded by something he loves so deeply.

But what happened next was beyond anything anyone imagined.
On the evening of his birthday, the rumble of engines filled the air as around 30 motorcycles came roaring up the road. Headlights shone, exhausts crackled, and Josef stood beaming from ear to ear. The bikers weren’t just passing by, they came to make him feel special.

He spent the evening chatting with them, sitting on their bikes, trying on helmets, and soaking up every second. His joy was written all over his face, it was pure magic to witness. 💙

From all of us at Partnership of Care, along with Josef’s family and friends, we want to say the biggest heartfelt thank you to Biker Escorts South Wales. Your kindness and generosity gave Josef a memory he will treasure for the rest of his life. You showed the incredible power of people coming together to bring happiness to someone else.

💫 What a birthday, one Josef will never, ever forget. 🎂✨
