☀️ What a cracker of a day for a stroll!
​The Dicky Tickers were out in full force today at Roath Park, and honestly, the weather couldn’t have been better. We had the sun on our backs and some world-class company from the local wildlife—the ducks, swans, and geese were out in record numbers today! 🪿🦆🦢
​Nothing beats a bit of fresh air and a good chat to keep the heart happy. We topped it all off with a well-earned pit stop at the Lakeside Cafe for a coffee and a catch-up. ☕️🍰

A little rain couldn’t dampen our spirit during yesterday’s Ein Llais walk! 🌧️🙌
​We had a brilliant time exploring the canal from Pontymoile, Geocaching, and learning all about our local wildlife. A huge thanks to Ian Thomas from Gwent Wildlife Trust Trust for being such an inspiring guide! 🦅🌿

☀️ Cracking day for a stroll! ☀️

​The Dicky Tickers were out in full force today, soaking up the sunshine along the beautiful Bedwas riverside. 🌊🚶‍♂️
​A massive shout-out to Kerry from the Caerphilly Countryside Rangers team for leading the way. We didn't just get our steps in—we learned so much about the incredible wildlife and nature right on our doorstep. From bird calls to hidden flora, Kerry really brought the trail to life! 🌿🐦
​Nothing beats fresh air, great company, and a bit of local nature.

🥾 Walk with The Dicky Tickers!

​Join us tomorrow for some fresh air, great company, and a bit of exercise. Whether you’re a regular or joining us for the first time, everyone is welcome!

Did you know that Parc Taf Bargoed used to be home to three busy collieries? ⚒️🌳

​We had a fantastic Ein Llais walk there this morning! We spent the trek laughing, chatting, and learning some "wild" new skills from Paul, who showed us what can be made from the plants along the trail.

​It’s crazy to think that this Good Friday marks 35 years since Deep Navigation Colliery closed for good. Seeing the lush greenery today, it’s a powerful reminder of how nature can reclaim and transform the world around us. 🌍🌳🌱🌿🪻
