💛 What a morning! 💛

Our very first FunkyMunky Cornwall session was such a joy 💖 — 12 gorgeous little monkeys all stomping, wiggling, shaking, dancing and hokey cokey-ing their way through the morning 💜🐒✨

It was so lovely to see everyone getting involved — from pirates 🏴‍☠️ and monsters 👹 peeking through keyholes to wiggling those wiggly woos! The children were amazing at learning the routine, helping with the props and tidying up too 👏💛

And for the grown-ups, a chance to enjoy a coffee and a chat ☕️ (with FunkyMunky mini carrot cakes for the little ones and biscuits for you!)

I had so much fun I only managed to take one photo of my own little monkey and her bampy 😅 — so if you came along and are happy to share any photos, I’d love to see them! Feel free to pop them in the comments or send them to me 💛

💛 A little thank you 💛

Huge thanks to Paintnprint for printing my leaflets — I’m so pleased with how they’ve turned out!

It’s all starting to feel very real now seeing everything come together ahead of our launch 💜🐒✨

🎉 FunkyMunky Cornwall launches in less than 2 weeks! 🎉

I’ve been busy behind the scenes getting everything ready — including a lovely little trial session with some friends and friends of friends, and their little ones 💛

We had such a special time wiggling our wiggly woos, shaking ribbons 🌈, popping popcorn 🍿, being pirates 🏴‍☠️ and (of course!) finishing with bubbles 🫧

One of my favourite moments was seeing little ones, some who had never met me before, start to come out of their shells even in just one session ✨

Now it’s full steam ahead for launch!

Happy Easter everyone 🐣💛

I thought this would be the perfect time to say a little hello…

I’m the face behind Funky Munky Music Cornwall 👋A former teacher and (most importantly!) a previous Funky Munky mum myself when we lived in Stroud 💜

Now I get to bring all the music, fun and magic to little ones here in Cornwall — and I honestly can’t wait to get started!

If you’re feeling a little nervous about coming along to a class, please know you are so not alone 💛Whether you’re running on very little sleep, juggling a million things, or just not quite sure what to expect — come as you are.

As a mum of three (8, 6 and 1), I’m very much in the thick of it too… so if you need a friendly face when you arrive, come and find me 👋

Each class is full of songs, props, movement and lots of smiles… and every child will be welcomed with their own little FunkyMunky friend and name sticker 🐒✨

Our first class launches on 21st April at South Hill Parish Hall, Golberdon 📍

Yesterday was a very exciting day for Funky Munky… 🎶🐒💜

We headed back to the motherland (Stroud!) for training and came home with LOTS of colourful surprises ready for our Cornwall classes 👀✨

Now the countdown is officially on to our launch!

📣 Calling all Mums, Dads, Grandparents and childminders of Callington, Liskeard, Saltash and surrounding areas… I am so excited to be launching FunkyMunky Cornwall! 📣

🐒💜 We are a fun and lively toddler and preschool music group - we wiggle, jiggle, jump, tap, twirl and wobble to all sorts of songs, old and new! 💜🐒

🌟Using props and puppets for every song🌟 we encourage you to come as you are; children can move freely 💃🕺and join in as much as they want💜 and parents - whether it’s been a tough night 💕, a crazy morning 💕or anything and everything in between, we are here to have fun with your little ones🎉, whilst you join in or have a breather and a cup of tea ☕️🍪
