Do not forget our 'EASTER EGG HUNT' in which has been kindly organised by E Wootten and Son Funeral Directors. This is due to take place SATURDAY 8th APRIL 13.30PM - 4.00PM.

Prize to find the winning egg includes a -
TRIP TO LONGELEAT SAFARI PARK FOR FOUR.

All family and friends are welcome.
We will be providing -
* Hot & Cold Drinks
* Burgers & Hot Dogs
* Vegetarian Option
* Selection of home made cakes.

The local news paper will also be here to take part of our event.

Just a few things we have been up to today! Pizza making and games!

Today we celebrated world book day with the local nursey. We had a pinic and a read with all the children.

We would like to thank the children who visit weekly. Thank you! :)

We would like to make you all aware of the next big event we have coming up within The Firs Care Home.

We are teaming up with E.Wotton & Son Funeral Directors (Calne) who are kindly organising an easter egg hunt within our grounds alongside Wiltshire Gazette and Herald who will be taking pictures for the local newspaper.

32 Easter eggs will be scattered around the grounds accessible for both our residents and families to take part and to find. There will be a ‘winning’ egg to be found and the prize will be four tickets to Longleat Safari Park.

All families members including children are invited to take part. We would love to see as many family members here as possible.

We will be having refreshments and food available to all.

The event will take place Saturday 8th April.
1.30 – 4.00pm.

What a lovely valentines we have had! The residents enjoyed making cards with the local nursery who visit weekly - followed by lunch together and wine and cheese for tea!

What a year.
I would kindly like to thank everyone for our cards, gifts and goodies. We have had so many lovely words shared to us and enough chocolate to see us through 2023.

We would like to thank the following for their dedication and support to us as a care home over the year to ensure we are delivering the best care possible to those in their home here at ‘The Firs Care Home’
- Northlands Surgery
- Calne Community Nurses/Physio’s
- Wiltshire Ambulance Service
We are all aware of the increased amount of pressure health and social care has been under however without the determination, dedication and love from all it would have been x10 harder.

From the bottom of our hearts from both staff and residents here at The Firs Care Home we wish you all a ‘Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.’
