‼️ Volunteers Needed ‼️

Willingham Speed Watch is currently looking for additional volunteers to join our team.

Could you spare just one or two hours each month to work alongside like-minded residents and help make Willingham safer for children and the wider community?

We understand that we may not be the most ‘popular’ group in the village. However, our aim is not to penalise drivers — it is to educate and raise awareness, encouraging safer driving along our village roads.

Data collected from the Speed Indication Devices and data loggers on Station Road, High Street and Earith Road clearly shows that speeding remains a significant issue, both day and night, throughout Willingham.

This is a message from Sarah Rutherford.
"I am saddened to share that my mother, Celia Macehiter, passed away peacefully at Cottenham Court Care Home on Friday 13th February, aged 86.
A celebration of her life will take place at The Arbory Trust, Barton, on 10th March at 11 am. All who knew Celia are warmly invited to join me in remembering and honouring her life.

The Book Fair will be in visiting the school library on 11th, 12th 16th and 17th March from 3.15pm until 4.15pm. Please come along and earn free books for the school. There will be a QR code for non cash payments.

The History of Medicine in Twelve Objects: An Author Talk at Willingham Library

Wednesday 25th February 7:30pm - 9pm

Dr Carol Cooper introduces her fascinating exploration of the origins and development of medical instruments and practice. Learn the history of some extraordinary pioneers, terrifying treatments and amazing innovations.

Doors open at 7:00pm for refreshments. The talk starts at 7:30pm, followed by Q&A, with time to buy books and have them signed by the author.
