Chance Encounter or Not? 🤔
Last September, while on holiday, we met a wonderful couple. During our conversation, I mentioned that we were cutting our trip short to fly home the next day because my dad had been hospitalised. She immediately understood and shared that she had recently lost her mother. Her husband, on the other hand, expressed concern as his wife wanted a reading from a psychic and he had some skepticism about psychics, saying he felt they were “all fake.” Of course, I wasn’t there to change anyone’s mind, and he was entitled to his view. However, I felt it was important to mention that I’m also a psychic medium.
He seemed a bit taken aback and asked, “If psychics can really connect with the other side, why are so many readings so vague? Why can’t they give specific names?”
I explained that there’s a difference between psychic readings and mediumship readings. The type of "clair" abilities a medium uses can determine how messages come through. I acknowledged that, yes, there are some frauds out there, but it’s not always possible to get names in every reading. Still, we work with what we’re given. He responded that if psychics could give names, he might believe in it more.
At this point, she asked if I had any messages for her. I explained that since I was drinking alcohol, I don’t usually mix spirit communication with alcohol, as I find it disrespectful. However, spirit had other plans. Within minutes, a spirit lady came through, connected by a "motherly link." I wasn’t expecting anyone, and I hesitated at first because she had already mentioned her mother had passed. Then, I received the name "Mabel"—a definite surprise, since names aren’t always provided.
I could see the spirit lady, appearing in black and white, wearing a smart military uniform, a pencil skirt, a tight-fitted buttoned jacket, and shiny shoes with small, low heels. The word "codes" came through clearly. I don’t always see spirit in this way, but I had a strong sense of her presence. The woman confirmed that her mother had worked for the government in the past, deciphering codes—something that clearly resonated with her.
At that point, her husband turned to her and asked, “Did you tell her your mother’s name?” She replied, "No, definitely not," and then explained that her mother’s birth name was actually “Mabel,” but she never liked it and changed it to “Hilda,” which everyone called her. She said there was no way I could have known her mother’s name, and if she had slipped up, it would’ve been “Hilda”—never Mabel.
Then, another male energy came through, saying, “Tell her it’s Ron.” I could’ve stayed quiet, but I decided to speak up. To my delight, it turned out to be her father! It made me smile when it all came together. He even used his name to clarify, rather than just saying, "I have a male spirit for you."
I was thrilled—and a little surprised—to receive both names. I’ll admit, I was also a bit smug, hoping her husband might be less of a skeptic after such clear evidence.
It felt like spirit had purposefully shared names after listening to our earlier conversation, giving a bit of playful proof that life continues beyond death. And personally, it showed me that there really are no boundaries between our worlds—even when I mix spirits with my spirits 🍸🙏😇🙏
