Letโs talk about relationships. ๐
Thereโs a huge number of women who are struggling to mend their relationship to food. ๐
We are a generation that has been falsely guided by restriction and rules, whether itโs slimming world or weight watchers, 5/2 or Atkins..
And whilst for some of you, this might seem like a blast from the past, youโd be amazed at how engrained it has become into our psyche ๐ง .
But Iโm here to tell you the truth ๐ฅฐ
And as harsh as this might soundโฆ if you want to improve your health & nutrition, you canโt just sit back and expect someone else to do it for you.
Sadly, we live in a time when ultra-processed foods are heavily marketed and unbelievably deceptive. ๐คฅ
Weโre told high protein, low sugar, low fat, high fibre, low calorie.. but all of it is simply just marketing. โน๏ธ
So whatโs the answer?
As with all of my content. Everything.. in moderation.
Iโm not here to tell you that you can only ever eat wholefood, raw ingredient diets. ๐ซ
Iโm not here to tell you that meat is going to kill your organs and sugar will kill your brain. ๐ซ
& I am certainly not here to tell you to stop enjoying that glass of red ๐ท.
But I am here to tell you that there is a balance & honestly, it takes YEARS of practice to get even close to any sort of balance.. & even then, no-one really has it.
So whilst this might sound like a slightly negative post, itโs really just to tell you to enjoy each day, each meal, each workout, each night out & find your inner balance โ๏ธ
