Afternoon! You all alright? I forgot to show you my most recent commission! Pet portraits aren't really my thing. I find them quite difficult, but I've attempted them occasionally over the years. This is dear departed Bess, a much missed lovely doggy friend of mine who used to come to stay with us when her owners were away. 💞

Morning! Meet Gary, otherwise known as Squeekles. He's our free range Guinea Pig who has spent the last 2 and a half years living under the wood shed after evading recapture following an escape. A few weeks ago his front door was looking so beautiful that I had to take a few photos. Then I had a desperate urge to get some paints out and have a bit of fun. So here's a portrait of our little dude. I kind of want to paint in a little welcome mat. 🙂

Morning! You all okay? I've done some art!! Doesn't happen that often at the moment! Always an honour to be asked and such a pleasure to be there when the piece is gifted. That doesn't happen very often either! This house portrait was commissioned by our local Parish Council as a retirement gift for a lovely gentleman who had been on the council for over 40 years. Happy to say he and his wife were delighted with the drawing of their beautiful home. 🙂

Good evening! Hope you're all safe and well. Hardly any art has happened here this year! I really hope to rectify that in 2025 and have lots of ref photos ready for new paintings so fingers crossed! I have just delivered a newly completed house portrait though! Can you spot the 'hidden' animal? No, it's not the wee doggy! 😁🙂💜

Evening all! How's things? I try to make as many Birthday cards as I can for family and friends. I made this one last week. 🙂🌻🌻 I'm also beginning a new house portrait. It's always an honour to be asked to do them. So I am still here and very occasionally doing arty stuff! Please show me something you've been working on if you're an arts and crafter. Hello! Very long time since I posted! Hope you're all well and enjoying summer. I've got new art on my walls! I treated myself to two original artworks by Tiny Art Guy that I've been coveting for ages. Freddy and George! Now on the wall along with the Discworld picture one of my awesome kids drew for me. Also finally got round to redecorating our dining room and getting some of my own artwork up too. Loving how the set looks! I've had a few beautiful bugs visitors recently who have inspired another similar set so I'm hoping for some arty time soon so I can show you something new! Love to you all! Jen 💜

Nothing new to show you at the moment, arty stuff is on the back burner for now. BUT I do have loads of old stuff you may have missed. AND my little page is 10 years old this year! 🥳 So I thought I'd do a little you know what, where I send someone or sometwo a little surprise something in the post, but I'll need a small favour in return 😁. I'd really appreciate it if you could have a good old scroll way back through my timeline and if you find something you really like, let me know by leaving a little message on the pic and then pop back here to say done.
