Llais signed the Armed Forces Covenant 📝

Our Chair, Professor Medwin Hughes, and Chief Executive, Alyson Thomas, signed this important pledge, showing our commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community.

By signing the Armed Forces Covenant, we ensure all voices of Wales are heard when it comes to health and social care - including serving personnel, veterans, and their families.

Llais calls for action on rural health and social care in Wales 🌾

We've been hearing from lots of people in rural areas across all of Wales, who have shared what they see as the strengths but also the struggles of accessing health and social care.

With roughly 1️⃣ in 3️⃣ people in Wales living in areas classified as rural, it is important that these voices are heard and acted on to avoid further health inequities.

Transparency is essential for maintaining confidence and trust.

Llais believe that the Cabinet Secretary’s decision to launch a formal investigation into data standards and governance at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB), is an important step.
When NHS performance data is unclear or unreliable, it undermines public confidence and leaves people uncertain about what's really happening with their care.

The General Medical Council (GMC) are consulting on two pieces of guidance and want to hear from you!

The guidance applies to doctors, physician associates (PAs) and anaesthesia associates (AAs) and supports them to deliver better care for patients. It helps leaders and managers to create inclusive environments where everyone feels able to speak up, and sets out how to raise and resolve concerns effectively.

Sharing your views will help shape the updated guidance and ensure it reflects the real-life experiences of everyone it affects.
