We are looking to recruit a new trainee dental nurse. We are a small, independent, family-run dental practice carrying out mixed NHS/private treatments. Duties would involve chairside assistance for the dentist, and decontamination of the surgery and instruments. Good communication skills essential and willingness with work in a team. Training is fully funded by Welsh Gov at approved provider. Ideally minimum C grade for English & Maths GCSE, otherwise will be required to complete literacy and numeracy additional modules. Salary to start at national living wage.

Cardiff & Vale Health Board have created an online standby list for ANYONE to complete to be put on a short-notice waiting list for vaccinations to save against wastage. Please share this with your friends and family to (hopefully) get your vaccine sooner

The purpose of this form is to enable a ‘reserve list’ of persons whom may be called for COVID-19 vaccine at short notice. Cardiff and Vale UHB is the data controller for any personal data that is collected.

UPDATE:- we are now not allowed to provide any aerosol treatment at all. Now is not a good time to get toothache folks. For patients with a true emergency, we will only be providing extractions and prescriptions following a telephone consultation only. Unfortunately following recent BDA advice we have made the decision to cancel all appointments unless it is a dental emergency. This is not only to restrict the spread of COVID-19 but we need to reserve our stocks of face masks for urgent cases that may require aerosol.
