Ynys Môn buddies Victoria and Nicolle watched Hijinx Theatre's incredible play, Meet Fred, at Pontio Bangor - and got to "meet" Fred after the performance too! Here's what they had to say about the show... 📹

Gig Buddies tackle loneliness and isolation through friendship, culture and fun. We match adults with a learning disability and autistic adults with a volunteer buddy who shares the same interests, so they can go to gigs together – everything from music and theatre, to sport, museums, festivals, and country walks. 🏂⚽🎸

Gig Buddies are looking for new volunteers across north Wales, as well as Neath, Port Talbot, Swansea and Cardiff. Get in touch at gigbuddies@ldw.org.uk.

Meet our newest Gig Buddies South Wales match... Helia and Joanna! 🥰 They both met at Speed Mates and can't wait to try some new things together... going to watch the Ice hockey, have a boogie at a Zumba class, plus a bit of pottery painting! They've already planned to go to a cabaret night at the Wales Millennium Centre - Canolfan Mileniwm Cymru too - how fabulous! 🤩

Chris and Matt went back to a time when all guns were blazing as they viewed the showcase of Modern War machines at The REME Museum recently. Chris particularly liked the rifles and guns. Dressing up in Wartime costume was, of course, mandatory!
