ATUNE Kids will be welcoming a new Senior Speech Pathologist in January 2026!
✨ Meet Katrina Allan – Senior Speech Pathologist at ATUNE Kids ✨
Katrina is a Senior Speech Pathologist with over ten years of experience supporting children and young people from early childhood through to adolescence. After graduating from the University of Newcastle, she has spent much of her career working in private practice and NDIS settings.
As both a clinician and a parent to two young children, Katrina brings a warm, practical and relational approach to her work. She understands the real-life pressures families face when navigating therapy and values collaboration, flexibility and shared problem-solving.
Katrina’s practice is grounded in neurodiversity-affirming and family-centred care. She focuses on helping children feel comfortable, confident and understood, while empowering them to build self-awareness, self-advocacy and pride. She loves supporting parents and communication partners to nurture their child’s strengths in everyday life.
Katrina has extensive experience in AAC, early language development, literacy learning and social communication for neurodivergent children and adolescents. She has also facilitated a variety of neurodivergent social groups and enjoys helping young people form positive peer connections.
