Yin yoga is a very gentle practice, you'll need a blanket, cushions and comfy clothes. Bring a candle if you have one. No need to have ever been to a yoga class before.

Together we are stronger

On Monday evening at 7pm I'm inviting you to join me for an hour of Yin yoga (via zoom)

100% of the proceeds will be donated to support the British Red Cross Ukraine crisis appeal.

I feel lost in how I can help so I thought it's the least I can do. Lets join together, sending our thoughts and love to all those who are going through an unimaginable time.

You can donate however much you would like, invite your friends and family. I would love to gather as many people as possible, together we are stronger.

What is yin yoga?

Have you ever tried it? If not, it's quite unlike other classes, we don't move off the floor. We use lots of cushions and blankets to get comfy and stay in poses for a few minutes

The focus is really about slowing down, tuning in and getting the nervous system to slow down. It's also a great way to get into the connective tissue and increase mobility.

If you are someone that's on the go a lot, finds it hard to relax, this is perfect for you.

Join me tomorrow evening (Monday 31st January) 7.30pm to close the month off and bring some calming energy into your week.

Pregnancy yoga classes are up and running
Wednesday evening 6.30pm via zoom

Slots are limited so I can give more personal feedback so please book in advance. If you can't make the live class time the recording can be sent out afterwards

Yoga is a perfect space for you to carve out time for yourself and your baby. We will focus on:

🌟 Breathing techniques - perfect to help you relax and great to use in labour.

🌟 Release aches and pains - your body is doing a lot so it deserves some TLC

🌟 Strength and mobility - to support your body as it changes in pregnancy

🌟 Relaxation - time to rest and relax and really tune in to how you feel

🌟 Connection to your body and breath but also your baby

Moving with your breath is powerful, it's like a moving meditation. Some people get this from running, I just spend the whole time thinking how much I hate it. Here, I'm not thinking of anything else...

Inhale.....exhale.....inhale.....exhale

My arthritis is currently under control but that means I have to keep on top of looking after myself. I move because I love it, it makes me feel good and my body thanks me.

It doesn't matter how 'good' you are, what it looks like or what you do. As long as you do things that make you feel good inside 👌

I'll be teaching Saturday 10am via zoom if you fancy coming along for some yoga moves.

Studios are open!

I can't wait to be able to connect in person and hear people breathe together, it's such a wonderful thing and I've missed it so much.

Happy birthday to meeeeeee 🎉🎉🎉

No whisky post sea swim today but I'll have a glass of wine later to celebrate 🍷

Saturdays class is ON!!!!! Can't wait to see everyone in class, 2 weeks off has felt like forever and I've missed you all.

My yoga practice has changed so much over the last year.

First lockdown it was all handstand training, rocket and mandala....fast forward a year and it's got slower, deeper, fluid movement and no sh*ts to what poses I do but where I can feel it, where do I need to move.

It often the in-between of movement between poses than is the most beneficial

Movement has been hugely important in my stress levels / anxiety and mental health over the last year but also so has breathwork and meditation.

Yoga isn't just the pose, it's tuning into your body. It's a never ending practice 💖

A reminder to myself to try and keep this slow going even as the world opens back up again

Happy Easter 🐰

First day of a four day weekend 🎉🎉
The sun is shining & we can meet friends/family outdoors. If that's not something to celebrate then I don't know what is 💖

My Saturday 10am class will be on as usual, drop in donation £5-£10 and I've added an option for the whole of April for £30 (8 classes in total! Absolute bargain). If you can't make a class, don't worry, I'll send you the recording after.

If you've never been before then come along for free to try it out, all levels are welcome.
