What an amazing first week back from my holidays!
We have all had great fun with our beach party sessions across Cumbria.
Brill music, sharing memories of our favourite seaside to dancing to Volare.
Looking forward to many more 'roll out those lazy hazy crazy days of summer' 🌞

Just had to share a fab moment from my second session today,
at Howard Court in Brampton.

We were having a free for all jig to
Sweet Georgia Brown when one of the lovely lady residents said " we've got music in our soul " out loud whilst she was doing jazz hands.

Love that 😀❤ x

What an amazing day !
In my morning session, a lady who has had a stroke suddenly realised she moved her right leg whilst joining in kicking away to
The Can Can. She hasn't hardly been able to move it. 😃
Full of joy and tears she was totally shocked and delighted. Absolute special moment to be part of, big hugs was in order. 🤗

To then my afternoon session where a new resident was upset and unsettled due to being new in the home. We had a chat together, then we all sang some good old songs, she was smiling and singing away.

Music is so special, it's important to me to try and make a difference. These moments are priceless. 😊 x
