🌿 Volunteer Opportunities at Friends of Chances Park 🌿
(PLEASE SHARE)

Friends of Chances Park are seeking passionate volunteers to join our team in the following voluntary roles:

1️⃣ Volunteer Gardeners
Time Commitment: Flexible, ideally 2–4 hours per week
Role: Help maintain and enhance the park’s gardens and green spaces, including planting, pruning, weeding, watering, and seasonal tasks. Support wildlife-friendly gardening and community events.

Ideal For: Anyone with an interest in gardening, enjoying the outdoors, and contributing to a vibrant community space.

2️⃣ Treasurer
Time Commitment: 6–10 hours per month, including quarterly review meetings
Role: Oversee the financial health of the group, manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Support compliance, provide guidance to the committee, and ensure sound financial governance.

Ideal For: Individuals with financial management experience, strong analytical skills, and an interest in supporting a community organisation.

3️⃣ Social Media Coordinator
Time Commitment: 4–6 hours per month, including quarterly review meetings
Role: Develop and implement social media strategy, create and publish content, monitor engagement, support campaigns and events, and grow the park’s online presence.

Ideal For: Creative, proactive individuals with social media experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for community engagement.
