This is our sixth year of taking the children to Aroma Chef in Lancaster to celebrate Chinese New Year, and it’s become such a special tradition for us all. The team there are always so kind, patient and wonderfully accommodating – even when we arrive with our little brood in tow!
The children are always so beautifully behaved and genuinely soak up every moment. They look forward to this outing all year. Watching them sit proudly at the table, chat together, try new foods and step just a little outside their comfort zones is so lovely to see.
It’s such a meaningful real-life learning experience, covering all seven areas of learning in the most natural and joyful way. Moments like these are what childhood memories are made of. ❤️
And honestly, it’s a little treat for me and my very dear friend Ellen too. We pour our hearts into the children all year long, so celebrating together at the end of the winter term feels really special.
