Important Notice: face masks required

Due to a recent increase in flu cases in our community, we have been requested to ask all staff and patients to wear a face mask during consultations.

This measure helps protect you, other patients and our healthcare staff by reducing the spread of respiratory infections.

We had a fantastic turnout for today’s Children’s CPR and choking training — thank you to everyone who joined us.

Your feedback was brilliant, and we’re excited to run more sessions soon. Many of you asked for workshops on common childhood illnesses, fever, immunisations, nosebleeds, and minor injuries — so keep an eye out for upcoming Zoom sessions.

We’d also love to know what you want next! It doesn’t have to be child-related. For example, we have evening menopause group sessions coming up with Dr Meyyappan (get in touch if you’d like to book a spot).

🚑 Children's Resuscitation & Choking Training – This Saturday! 👶

We’re running a free, hands-on training session this Saturday for parents and carers of children under 5, delivered by our practice paramedic, Tom.

A text message was sent out earlier this week, please check your phones and diaries, and book in if you can make it. This training could make a real difference in an emergency.

Antiobiotic Awareness Week.

As we head into winter we all experience spikes in coughs, colds and sore throats which are caused by viruses. Antibiotics will not help with a viral illness and the vast majority of patients, young and old will heal on their own.

Please consider becoming and antibiotic gaurdian- the link explains more about antibiotics and the problems arising with antibiotic resistance. We need to protect antibiotics for those that truly need them.

Wow! A huge thank you to all the patients who have completed our Friends and Family feedback. We’re delighted that 97% of you rated us as Good or Very Good (with 84% selecting Very Good). We had nearly 300 responses.

- Every time I see a GP at Eden Court they are very thorough and explain everything in detail

- Always helpful, easy to use service with prompt appointments and quick service from Reception.

- I had two vaccinations and everything was explained to me as to what was going to happen.

- Dr was fantastic. Very knowledgable and supportive

- Prompt booking for both flu and covid jab . Lady on reception on Saturday morning very helpful and accommodating of visit . Acknowledged both myself and partner upon arrival and checked on our departure to make sure everything was okay. Amy the healthcare assistant was very professional when delivering the vaccines making sure we were happy to have them in separate arms
