👶 MATERNITY INFORMATION 👶

As you all know, I have been booked up online for some time. 😅🙏🏻💜

I have however, blocked out ALL of December online, just so that during this time I can be taking it week by week. 👌🏻

I am Planning on leaving work for Christmas Break & not returning until I feel the time is right to do a phased return. 💆🏻‍♀️

This is my first baby, I won’t know how I am going to feel but one thing is for sure I’m going to soak it all up as much as I can. ☺️🥹

Working from home - fortunately gives me the opportunity to work when it feels right and it fits around our new world and baby girl. 🏠 👶 💆🏻‍♀️

I don’t want to put a date on when I am back, but knowing me I doubt it’ll be longer than 6 months. 🤷‍♀️ 🙈💜

During this time I shall be ensuring you can purchase your favourite products online & I shall be uploading resources to help with making time for yourself & how to manage stress in the meantime. 🤩 💻

Please ensure you are in our Telegram group to see when appointments are available as they won’t be available to book online for some time now so I can manage my calendar even more effectively until I am back in business fully. 🫶🏻 📆

✨ A Little Personal Update ✨

I’m so excited to share with you all that I’m now 23 weeks pregnant with - Our Baby GIRLY 🥹 ✨💜

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has shown patience and understanding on a few days that have been a little … unpredictable. 🥲

I haven’t had the easiest journey, especially the first 18 weeks or so (🤢) … but your kindness, loyalty & lasting support have truly kept me focused and grounded. I’m amazed I’ve been able to still work the days I have - I love how my job actually helped me take my mind off feeling nauseous the majority of the time ✨ 🫶🏻

I’m now feeling 100% better & more myself again YEY. 🙌🏼 Truly making the most of this period 🥰💜✨

We can’t wait to meet & treat her 🤭 👶

Yesterday, the world lost such a beautiful soul, and I’ve been completely heartbroken ever since hearing the news. 💔

Nikki was still so young - a devoted wife and loving mother to her three children, who she spoke about with endless pride and affection. Her eldest, Annabelle I got to meet too 🫶🏻 She also spoke so fondly of her family in Spain. Her love and warmth for them all was so clear in every conversation.
✨💜🙏🏻

Despite her long and difficult battle with C, she was always so positive, always seeking the best natural ways to look after herself, always looking at life with such light and hope.

During her massage & facial treatments, we’d have the most meaningful & deep conversations - about travel, seeing the world, making the most of every day. ✨💜

Not once did she ever dwell on the negative. She carried herself with such grace, strength and beauty that you would never have known the battles she faced behind closed doors. 🙏🏻

I chose this photo of her because it shows how stunning she truly was, outside as well as inside and because she always loved her hair this way. She always spoke about how she loved it so blonde and long - so this pic is for you 🫶🏻✨

She was such a dream to treat, to chat with, to laugh with. She brought so much light into the therapy room and I’m grateful she had those moments here to rest, relax, and let go. 🫶🏻💟💆🏻‍♀️

I often get to know people deeply - as I got to know Nikki and that makes this loss even harder to swallow 🙏🏻💜

I will miss her deeply. My heart aches for her husband, her children and all who loved her. To me, she will always be remembered as an incredible, inspiring woman whose kindness, positivity and light will continue to shine in the memories of everyone she touched.

Rest peacefully, beautiful soul. You will be so missed by all. 🤍 ✨

Nutrition before & after massages … When I did my holistic health degree, apart from the mind-body connection my next favourite topic was nutrition.

Today I was asked what to eat, what supplements to take pre and post massage. This isn’t something that’s asked often but I LOVED the question & so I thought I’d do a little explanation & also a little diagram for those who are more visual (like me)

So … in this example I’m just going for a relaxation massage OR a deep tissue.

Eating prior to a massage … avoid anything that’s heavy. Something light 1-2 hours before your treatment. This ensures you’re comfortable. Avoid anything spicy, greasy, caffeine or alcohol. Be well hydrated, especially with deep tissue .. however avoid drinking too much 1-2 hours prior. Especially with a weaker bladder.

After a massage…

I’d recommend eating lightly again 30-60 mins after your session. With deep tissue definitely anti inflammatory food & electrolytes such as coconut water drink wise for best results/recovery.

With relaxation massages… our bodies wants to keep you in ‘rest & digest’ so again keeping it light, easily digestible foods. Especially on an evening so your body can also focus on healing & calming/ better sleep.

I’ll post about supplements another day so it’s not such a long post 🤭
