MOB Lifesavers, 3 Street Marys Way, Chalfont Saint Peter (2025)

A Lifesaver is 3 metres of very strong rope (HMPE/Dyneema) spliced into a loop with a triangle formed in one end. The other end is attached to the lifting strop in your lifejacket. The Lifesaver is folded on top of the lifejacket bladder and the jacket is closed. When the lifejacket deploys the Lifesaver floats out onto the water and the rescuer on the mother boat can grab this with the boathook, attach the man overboard to the boat, then set up their preferred retrieval rig and winch the man out.
