What’s your autopilot mindset?
In sessions, a major part of the work is looking at what the client's default mode is. It's ok if it's not "Resilient and Respectful" because our autopilot simply means this is a learnt behaviour we've copied from childhood, or developed to survive a toxic relationship in adulthood.
Therapy provides you with the tools to step out of autopilot thinking so you have more awareness, control and choice with how you respond, make life decisions and communicate with others.
