Yew Tree Cottage Residential Home is registered with the Cinnamon Trust as a pet friendly care home, we have welcomed many pets over years, from birds, cats and dogs. We understand the importance of pets in peoples lives.

We will soon have a part time position for a senior support worker coming up at Yew Tree Cottage Residential Home.
It is for two night and one afternoon per week. Good rates of pay for the right person. A lovely work environment with plenty of perks.

At Yew Tree Cottage Residential Home we provide training placements for Training Nurse Associates from Yeovil College. We are able to offer social care placements as I am a Registered Nurse and a Teacher and Assessor in clinical practice and my Deputy is a in house trainer.
These placements are invaluable to enable students to see how professional but caring should be.

I thought I would share some of the lovely cards and comments that we have received from some of our residents families. It’s always lovely to be able to support residents and their families in difficult times. What is incredibly touching is when I’m ask to present a reading at their loved ones funeral.

First rhubarb crop of the year!

What great week so far racing, a winner at Taunton on Monday and lots of places at Cheltenham so far. Our residents love following our fantastic horses.
Plus Graham got a new car today, we can now take all our residents out in one car!
