One of the questions we’re often asked is “What tests do I need before becoming an egg donor?”

Here’s what you can expect during your screening:

Initial tests- blood tests for AMH (to check your ovarian reserve) and ni****ne, plus a urine test to check for STI's.
Ultrasound scan- a transvaginal scan to make sure your ovaries and uterus are healthy.
Further blood tests- including genetic screening (such as chromosome checks and conditions like cystic fibrosis) and screening for infectious diseases which include HIV and hepatitis.

All of these steps are in place to protect your health and the wellbeing of the future family you’ll be helping. 💕
