New Moon — Alder · Crow
As the New Moon arrives, Rowan releases and Alder begins.
This is a quiet turning on the Living Path — a moment when something old falls away and a new foundation begins to form.
Alder is the tree of building. It grows where land meets water, steady and resilient, teaching us how to root ourselves even when the ground feels uncertain. This New Moon is not about rushing forward. It is about choosing what you will quietly commit to, and what you are ready to leave behind.
Crow walks with you here.
Crow is the keeper of thought, mind, and intuition. In Celtic legend, crows watched over travellers at sea, perched high on ships, scanning the horizon for what was yet to come. One crow basked in the sun for protection, while the other stood ready to fly — guiding the journey ahead.
When Crow appears, it is a sign that your soul is moving in the right direction. Even if the path feels unclear, unseen support is gathering. Ancestors and guides step forward to help clear your way.
This New Moon invites you to trust what you already know, even if you cannot yet see where it leads.
Alder builds.
Crow guides.
Let what grows now be steady, not forced — for what grows slowly, lasts.
