Danielle McCurdy Coaching

Danielle McCurdy Coaching I am a California native currently living in the UAE. My past life included over 15 years working in the corporate world. You probably already have set goals.

I Help Ambitious Women Go From Stuck to Unstoppable: Linking the elements of the mind, body and spirit to bring about ridiculously beautiful life transformation. I am an certified integrative nutrition health coach (through The Institute of Integrative Nutrition), blogger, 200 hour YogaWorks teacher, a wife and mom to two lovely young girls. I enjoyed the challenging and fast-paced environment in the early years but as my passion for health and wellness grew, I knew I would need to make a calculated exit. When I finally left in August of 2016, I was exhausted from years of stress, suffering from adrenal fatigue, overweight - despite my clean eating habits. I embarked on the process to heal my body (and mind) by following a holistic approach while launching my own online business - my own long-term passion project. As a holistic health and wellness coach, I work with women to help them achieve their health and wellness goals and feel better in mind, body and spirit. My coaching programs are practical with simple guidelines to start the process of implementing small yet consistent changes for big results.

I also leverage from my long-time business experience and mentor budding entrepreneurs to create their own online business - with all the benefits of having financial and location independence. I've been lucky to have amazing mentors over the years in my corporate career, which have prepared me well. For more information, see www.naturallybiased.com/work-with-us or email me at danielle@naturallybiased.com. My belief is that YOU know what YOUR body needs to get healthy and feel better. My role is to give you constructive advice to actually get there. I will support you in finding the right path to take for your particular body so you hit those goals and thrive.

I used to think my cravings meant I had zero willpower.

Chocolate at night. Wine after work. Pizza when I was overwhelmed.

Turns out my body was not being dramatic. It was communicating.

Low magnesium. Blood sugar crashes. Stress through the roof. Running on five hours of sleep.

Food was just the loudest signal.

Once I learned how to translate cravings, everything shifted. Less bingeing. More energy. Way less guilt around food.

If you want the cheat sheet that shows what common cravings actually mean and what to do instead,

Low libido in midlife is rarely just “in your head.”

Hormones. Stress. Brain chemistry.

Your body usually sends signals first.

Right now, I’ll bet you’re basing a lot of health decisions on general assumptions.

You need better data.

500 genes.

Clear strategy.

No more trial and error.

I read a stat that nearly a quarter of a woman’s life is spent in poor health. 😅

Sadly, we have normalised it. Adapted to it. Pushed through it.

I’m not signing up for that and neither should you.

Midlife symptoms are not something to tolerate for the next 20+ years. They are signals.

If we bring data, precision and strategy into our health instead of guesswork, that 23% does not have to stay 23%.

Comment DNA and let’s start changing this.

Discipline did not disappear.

Your hormones changed.

Evening cravings in perimenopause are not weakness. They are signals from a system under load.

When you stop fighting them and start decoding them, the shame softens and control comes back.

Your mind is not the problem.

Your libido is not broken.

Perimenopause changes the rules of desire and no one hands you the updated manual.

If you are willing but your body is not responding, it is not about trying harder. It is about working differently.

No one talks about this part of midlife.

🥵 Not the hot flushes.
😳 Not the weight gain.
🫣 Not the brain fog.

The part where you are quietly exhausted from trying to fix yourself.

You buy the supplements. You tweak the diet. You listen to the podcast. You book the appointment.

And you still do not feel quite right.

So you try something else.

That cycle is draining. Financially. Emotionally. Mentally.

I did not get my DNA tested because I wanted a miracle. I got it because I was tired of guessing.

What changed was not perfection. What changed was more precision.

Now when I support inflammation, hormones, detox, blood sugar, I know why.

When I choose a food or a supplement, it has a job.

When I speak to a doctor, I bring data.

That shift alone rebuilt my confidence.

Midlife does not need more discipline. It needs direction.

If you are done experimenting on yourself, comment DNA and I will show you how I use this with my clients.

I used to spiral with every craving.

One “bad” meal, a stressful week, or a holiday coming up and I was straight into screw it mode. All or nothing. Start again Monday. Repeat.

It felt so random. Some days I was fine, other days I was face first in the snacks wondering what was wrong with me.

Nothing was “wrong.” I finally learned that cravings are not a character flaw, they are data.

Blood sugar. Stress. Sleep. Hormones. Emotions.

My body was talking, I just did not know how to read the signals.

Now I still eat what I want, including on holiday. The difference is that I know why my cravings show up, and I know how to support my body before, during, and after.

I make choices from data, not drama. I feel calm, not guilty and out of control.

If your cravings feel random and you are tired of starting over every Monday, I made this for you.

Your 9pm cravings are not a lack of willpower, they are a message from your body.

Most women march into midlife thinking they just need to “get it together” around food. Stricter rules, cleaner eating, more discipline at night.

But here is the truth: evening cravings are usually the result of everything that happened long before you opened the pantry. How you slept, what you ate earlier, how stressed you are, how much you are carrying mentally.

When you keep trying to control cravings with more rules, you miss the information they are actually giving you. So you end up blaming yourself instead of supporting your system.

In this carousel I walk you through the exact shift I made, from
“Something is wrong with me”
to
“My cravings are showing me what needs support.”

If your evenings feel like a cycle of “I’ll be good” followed by “I blew it again,” you do not need another food plan. You need a clearer map of what your body is asking for in this season.

You are not “bad” at intimacy, your body just stopped matching a script that was never written for midlife.

So many women arrive in this season thinking the only options are to:
force it,
fake it,
or quietly avoid it and hope no one notices.

Desire shifts, bodies change, mental load explodes, and yet we keep measuring intimacy by one thing, how often we are having s*x.

No wonder so many women feel broken.

I work with women who want closeness to feel safe again using these strategies:
connection before pressure,
intimacy that is bigger than s*x,
and giving the body more time to actually arrive.

When you stop treating intimacy like a performance and start treating it like a place your nervous system can soften, everything changes. More small moments, more warmth, more room to be a real human, not a “high drive” robot.

If you are in midlife and feeling the gap between how you used to feel and how you feel now, you do not need to fix yourself. You need a new approach that honours this version of you.

“Good” all day then feel out of control at night? This is not a character flaw.

Midlife hormones change how your appetite, stress response, and energy work.

That means your old strategy of white knuckling through cravings, skipping meals to “make up” for last night, living on coffee and then raiding the kitchen after dark,
stops working.

You keep trying to out-discipline biology.

But your body is not the enemy. It is sending signals.

When you understand how your hormones, blood sugar, and stress load are driving your cravings, everything gets simpler. You stop asking, “What is wrong with me?” and start asking, “What needs support right now?”

Comment CRAVE and I will send you the Midlife Cravings Decoder - so you can finally see the real reasons your nights keep blowing up your progress.
