Hello 👋 hi! It’s been a little while… just dropping in to introduce Soul Spark ✨ — the next chapter of my yoga journey.

18 months after baby number two, and here I am, ready and excited to take my own baby steps back into teaching. The past few years have been a wild, beautiful ride — ideas have been brewing, energy has been building — and it finally feels like time 🥰

Soul Spark captures the heart of my purpose in teaching: to spark joy from within. Stay tuned for upcoming sessions designed to do just that ✨

I’m also thrilled to be covering a couple of classes for Monique at Rosieglo yoga this Friday morning — so if you’re floating around Cheltenham and fancy rolling out your mat, I’d love to see you there! 🧘

Teen Yoga at Rosieglo starts next Tuesday at 5pm and I really can’t wait to share the many tools of yoga with them. Have a read of Rosie’s fab blog post to find out more 🧘

As a Mum of three daughters, I often get asked if they do yoga.

My initial reaction is to scoff and say ‘No, they don’t want to do what their Mum does!’ - just like any teenager.

But actually, I do see that growing up around yoga has had a positive impact on them and they do in fact integrate many of the beneficial aspects into their lives, even if they don’t realise it!

Whether that’s taking time to stretch out after a grueling day at the school desk, consciously breathing when things get a bit much, taking a moment to choose how to react when they’re triggered, mindfully putting the screen down and knowing the importance of selfcare - the subtleties of yoga are there and I hope in time, their own yoga journey will unfold.

I’ve written a blog post about the big and small benefits of yoga for teenagers. We all know that the teenage years can be quite a whirlwind – school, friends, emotions, and a whole lot of changes🤪 🤯

As a parent, you’re always grasping for ways to support your teenager during this transitional phase, whether it’s to increase confidence, reduce anxiety, encourage them to open up, or help them to calm down, navigating the teen turbulence can be a rollercoaster for all! 🎢

Teen Wellbeing Retreat for Strength and Calm 🌊 ✨

This afternoon retreat session especially for Teens is just the ticket to strengthen the body & calm the mind … feel renewed from the inside out.

From a warming yoga flow to a feel good playlist, to fun partner and acro yoga poses for a challenge, into deep stretches and scrumptious guided relaxations, this afternoon will be a big dose of self care and positive vibes ✨💛

In between the physical activities will be the chance to enjoy a healthy juice/smoothie, herbal teas and sweet treats while getting to know one another.

Whether you come with friends or on your own, this afternoon is sure to leave you feeling strong, flexible and calm. Ready to take on the week, and any challenges that life can throw at you.

I am so looking forward to hosting this Teen Wellbeing Retreat.. a little taster of the upcoming weekly Teen Yoga for Strength and Calm class starting in September at 🌸

All yoga mats and props are provided, all you need is some comfy clothes, a bottle of water and some snuggly socks! 🧦

🤸 TEEN YOGA 🧘 Thursdays 5pm at

When I started doing yoga at the age of 23, all I could think about was how helpful it could have been to teenage me - and that’s why I became a yoga teacher!!

This class for young people to have fun and find some calm in a non competitive, safe environment.

In each session you can

- learn yoga postures to build strength and flexibility in the body, and resilience in the mind
- practice simple breathing exercises to help manage stress & anxiety
- make time for complete rest and relaxation away from distractions

I have taught teenagers yoga since completing my training with in 2017.

I absolutely love these sessions and believe yoga and mindfulness are some of the most beneficial tools we can offer young people to help you navigate adolescence, school and the journey into adulthood.

Join me each week at Bloom Studio
Classes are £8 each or £40 for 6 sessions (to use over 3 months)

Wednesday is a good day to Yoga 🐪

I’m back to teaching this week, yay! This January marks my official return to regular teaching since having little baby Ziggy 👶

I am excited to bring back my Wednesday morning session at 9.30am …. A class suitable for everyone that will focus on the foundations of yoga, breaking down the physical postures to find the best option for your body alongside gentle breathing exercises.

My evening class at 6pm is a light-hearted flow… keeping you moving between postures and rest in a mindful way.

Both classes are suitable for beginners and those who have done yoga before. You can join at the studio or tune in online! Just let me know at the time of bookings.

🌞 this Bank Holiday’s weather forecast is looking 👌 , finally we can confidently look forward to Yoga in the Park on Sunday morning! Join Chelsea at 10am in Sandford Park 🧘

🎄 A Yoga Christmas Special ✨ with Jan Benn & Chelsea Baker

Sunday 13th December
4 - 6pm *ONE SPACE LEFT*

Join us for this extra special extended class.
40 minutes of yoga flow with Jan, followed by some nourishing restorative yoga and yoga nidra, a fully guided relaxation meditation, guided by Chelsea.

After the session we'll have time for a glass of Prosecco and a nibble of cheese in the studio as we let that lovely 'after yoga feeling' linger.
We can't wait to see you there.

Our Story

Since starting my yoga journey in Australia in 2016, I knew I wanted to share its philosophies and wellbeing benefits with others. Developing my own self-awareness, compassion and acceptance in everyday life has allowed me to grow and find a sense of peace I am unbelievably grateful for.

Join me for friendly, welcoming and un-intimidating classes that aim to draw from the whole philosophy of yoga.

Since undertaking my initial teacher training with Siddhi Yoga in Rishikesh, India have also qualified as a Teen Yoga teacher. I have completed courses in Yoga for Trauma as well as Eating Disorders. I always look forward to furthering my understanding and application of Yoga as a therapy for mental health in the future.
