Chester 10km 08.03.2026 🏃‍♀️

Not the race day I wanted. One of those days where everything goes against you 🙈 But by some miracle, I made it to the finish line. I didn’t get a PB, but I did beat last year’s time by 4mins 6seconds, so there’s some improvement. But as .with.louise_ reminded me, not all races go to plan.

For the women who offer a shoulder, a laugh, a hug, a distraction, a safe space, or simply just company, whilst we all navigate our way through this life… thank you 💚

The world can feel like an overwhelming, often scary place, particularly right now. Having other women by my side helps. Having that support and camaraderie helps. I’m forever grateful for the women in my life.

First big hike of the year done ✅

And I couldn’t have asked for a better day 🥹 Boots on, snacks packed, clear(ish) skies and my two loves by my side 👫🐾 … Perfect👌

Nothing soothes my soul quite like a day in the mountains. I am so ready for warmer weather and longer days! I struggle a lot with SAD. So when spring starts to roll around, I feel like a whole new person. I finally feel like myself again 😌

This was the best route for our first big day. The Moel Eilio Horseshoe from Llanberis. 14km, 726m elevation, non-technical paths. Just great views and even better company. 10/10 would recommend.
