Wonder what happens at a laser tattoo removal appointment?

We always begin with a thorough consultation where we review your medical history and assess your tattoo to determine how many sessions you may need.

The removal process usually takes around 30 minutes, although this may vary depending on the size and complexity of the tattoo. Sensation is usually minimal and we can briefly pause the treatment if you feel any discomfort.

After your treatment, you will be given aftercare instructions to help you care for the treated area and we will help you schedule your next appointment according to your healing progress.

Meet Alison Selvarajah, affectionately known as Ali.

Ali is the co-founder of Medica Clinic and a Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in the NHS. She has a clinical background in cardiology, orthopaedics and trauma, followed by several years in primary care.

Ali moved into aesthetics to combine her nursing experience with her long held ambition of owning her own business. She is passionate about helping not only younger patients interested in aesthetics, but also middle-aged and older patients who want medically-led treatments to rejuvenate their skin and feel confident in themselves again.

Meet Angela Thompson, who most people know as Angie.

Angie is our co-founder and a Clinical Nurse Specialist. With four decades of nursing experience, Angie has an NHS background in cardiology, dermatology, renal medicine and hepatology.

After having anti-wrinkle injections herself several years ago, Angie realised just how powerful these treatments can be. She saw how a boost in confidence can positively impact how the person shows up in everyday life and within society. Inspired by her own experience, she chose to pursue a career in aesthetics and has since dedicated herself to helping men and women feel like the very best version of themselves.
