The Wyldewoods was invited to the Older People's Fair event last week, hosted by Aphra Brandreth MP and held at Kelsall Community Centre. Aphra invited a range of local groups, including ourselves, Age UK Cheshire , Rotary Club of Chester , OPAL Services , the Police, Cheshire Hub for Later Life Solutions, and local solicitors to talk about wills.

Local councillors also attended, and members of the community came along to chat with the various groups.

When we were putting together the menus for Sage at Chester here at The Wyldewoods, we knew we needed a childrenโ€™s menu if we really wanted to be seen as a family friendly place.

Once Chef Jim had come up with the dishes, we realised we needed something to keep little hands entertained while waiting for their food. A colouring page felt like the obvious choice, but with a twist so... we turned the team into colouring in pages.

I personally think Adam looks fantastic...๐Ÿ–

A great day was had and a big shout out to Karamba Samba and the Wrexham Concert Band for keeping spirits high with music and entertainment! ๐ŸŽŠ

Curry & Quiz Night at The Wyldewoods ๐Ÿ›๐Ÿง 

Guests were treated to a delicious variety of curries from around the world, prepared by our talented Head Chef, James. On the menu: a rich and flavourful Rendang Curry, a vibrant Chicken Tandoori, and a mouth-watering Katsu Cauliflower โ€” something for everyone to enjoy!

Our residents, friends, and family all got stuck into the quiz, with many taking turns as quizmasters throughout the night. It was fantastic to see everyone get involved and share so many laughs.

We ended the evening by crowning our winning team โ€” who proudly took home the quiz cup โ€” and of course, awarded the legendary wooden spoon to our last-place team (with just as much cheer!)๐Ÿ†
