📚✨ World Book Day at the Village Bistro ✨📚

What a magical World Book Day celebration we had with our Alice in Wonderland themed event! 🐇🎩♣️

Our amazing Village Bistro team put together a truly wonderful spread that everyone enjoyed.

We also had some fantastic entries in our Best Dressed Household Competition 👗🎭
🏆 Water Gate took first place with their brilliant efforts!
🥈 Eastgate came in second
🌟 And a special shout out to our lovely Clare, who won Best Dressed!

To top off the day, we were treated to an amazing magic show that left everyone smiling and full of wonder. 🪄✨

Join us for a relaxed and welcoming coffee morning especially for carers, hosted by the Belong at Home Chester Team.

We’ll be providing:

Big trip to the Big Apple 🍎✨

Would you believe the Big Apple came to us? We indulged in New York’s finest flavors while enjoying a virtual tour of the city that never sleeps. From classic bites inspired by New York City to the bright lights of Times Square and the charm of Central Park, it felt like we were right there in the heart of it all.

Great food, iconic sights, and unforgettable vibes no passport required. 🗽💛

Movement with Louise

What a wonderful time we had getting active together! Our chair based exercise session was full of smiles, energy, and feel-good movement. From gentle stretches to upbeat arm and leg exercises, everyone joined in at their own pace, showing that staying active can be both accessible and fun.

There was plenty of laughter, encouragement, and great team spirit as we moved to the music and boosted our wellbeing. It’s amazing how a little movement can lift our mood, improve flexibility, and leave us feeling refreshed and accomplished.

We can’t wait for our next session let’s keep moving together! 💛

Belong Chester and Ready Generations Nursery were delighted to recently host Takako Serizawa and Shingo Eguchi from the Diversional Therapy Association of Japan. 🇯🇵

Diversional therapy is a person-centred approach using activities to improve physical and emotional wellbeing, and is often used in the care of older people and in hospitals.

Our guests toured the village, chatting with customers and colleagues to find out more about our approach to care in partnership with nursery operators, Ready Generations. 🧸
