A lovely start to the week this morning! ☀️

Residents and customers enjoyed a relaxed social morning with a friendly game of dominoes or two, plenty of chatting, and a warm cup of tea or coffee. It’s always wonderful to see everyone coming together, sharing laughs, and enjoying each other’s company.

We had a great afternoon learning about the Cheshire Home Guard. It was incredibly informative and gave everyone a real insight into an important part of local and national history.

There were so many wonderful artefacts and pieces of memorabilia on display, each with its own story and connection to the past. It was fascinating to see these items up close and hear the history behind them.

Everyone really enjoyed listening to the stories and learning more about the role the Home Guard played. It was a brilliant opportunity to reflect on the past and appreciate the dedication and efforts of those involved.

A very enjoyable and memorable afternoon for everyone.

We are pleased to have contributed to the APPG on Housing and Care for Older People inquiry, Creating Intergenerational Communities. 🏡🧸

Our village, with the integrated Ready Generations Nursery (operated by Ready Generations) serves as a case study in the report which explores the need for more accommodation tailored to an ageing population, and the desire for many people to live in mixed-age communities that bring generations together.

A lovely morning with George the pianist 🎹

The Memory Box is designed to spark memories and conversations through nostalgic items and pictures from years gone by, helping residents share stories and special moments together.

It was wonderful to see so many smiles and hear the memories being shared. ✨
