This was me all last week 📚 in between looking after my lovely clients.

Revision and preparation for my VIVAS 🧐

Im happy to say that I passed my second VIVA, and this time, I felt a little calmer, still nerve wrecking of course, but growth usually happens outside the comfort zone.

We are now moving onto the shoulder joint 💪 with the next VIVA after Christmas.

And of course, my cats continued their role as my study supervisors, mostly sitting on my notes, and taking my pens while I revised 🐈🐈‍⬛

Had a fab time at the Health and Wellbeing day today 🧘🏽‍♀️
Loved wandering around the stalls, and talking all things wellness, and even better bumping in to a few familiar faces 💖
It was so lovely to see Angela and Anna Shala Healing with their beautiful stall and treatments 💆🏽‍♀️ and I couldn’t resist picking up some magical crystals and cards from Jeaneil Holistic Therapists 🧚‍♀️

What a wonderful, uplifting day! ✨

🌺 Remembrance Day Reflection 🌺

Today, we pause together in quiet remembrance, honouring all who have felt the pain and cost of conflict, in every time and every place.

As we remember those who came before us, our hearts are also with those living through hardship and unrest across the world today. Many within our Reiki community are personally affected, and we send our deepest compassion and healing energy to all who are suffering and facing challenge.

Reiki teaches us that peace begins within. When we find stillness and kindness in our own hearts, we become a source of calm and light that reaches far beyond ourselves, a warmth that gently overflows into our families, communities, and the wider world.

🕊️ May Reiki flow where it is needed most, to every person, every community, every nation.
May peace be found in every heart.
Lest we forget.

It’s been a busy few weeks both in the treatment room and with my studies for my level 4 sports massage 💆🏽‍♀️ 💆‍♂️

We’ve now moved onto the knee, looking at ligaments, tendons, bony landmarks, joint end feel, special tests, postural assessment, and VIVA assessments. ( I actually have my first assessment this week 🤩 )

It’s fascinating how everything connects and being able to understand that, which can help my clients on a deeper level.

Always learning, which I love 💖

Have you all had a fabulous weekend?
I had a lovely day out yesterday in Whitby 🧛, and today I’m cracking down with my studies for my Level 4 sports massage 💪.
The past 5 weeks I’ve been studying the foot and ankle 🦶which includes stages of different injuries, attachment sites, ligaments, conducting subjective and objective assessments, and to provide sports massage to prevent, and manage those injuries.

Looking forward to seeing all my wonderful clients this week 🧘🏽‍♀️

Today we raise awareness for all women journeying through menopause and perimenopause 🦹🏻‍♀️
A natural, and powerful transition that deserves understanding, support, and care.

The menopause isn’t just a physical change, it touches every part of our wellbeing, body, mind, and soul 🧘🏽‍♀️
For many women it can bring out symptoms like fatigue, anxiety, mood changes, aches and pains, brain fog, hot flushes, insomnia, and low confidence.
With the right support it can also be a time of renewal, wisdom, and reconnection to self.

I love supporting women through this transition with aromatherapy, massage, and reflexology to calm the nervous system, and reiki energy balancing to help release emotional blockages.
These treatments help to bring balance, grounding and peace from within 🧘🏽‍♀️

The dreaded road works start this Monday 13th October. Again, please keep an eye on traffic and time when visiting us, we work to a strict time frame as you all know so 10 mins late will cause us problems and could potentially mean a shorter appointment or cancellation for yourself, which we obviously don't want to do. Sorry to keep going on about it but I don't want any of you to be let down! ❤️

From 13 October 2025 the west section of A632 Chesterfield Road, Duckmanton, shown in blue on the map below, will be closed.
This section of work is expected to take between three and four weeks to complete, after which, the east section shown in green below will be closed until the completion of the project in mid-December.

Please, please keep this in mind for your appointments and give yourself extra travel time, if you are late this may impact your appointments.
