Why research your Family History? Not many of us will find rich or infamous relatives. For most of us they will be ordinary folk raising families in towns and villages, but they lived through the trials and tribulations of their times and passed on traits and characteristics through their descendants to make us what we are today.
Researching their history gives an insight into what their lives were like and where they came from often influenced this including determining their occupations and opportunities to thrive. It may not be possible to go back centuries but even 2, 3 or 4 generations can unearth fascinating stories and strange coincidences. It may even lead to finding new realtives across the globe.
