ICE (In Case of Emergency) Stickers are a reminder of the risks every rider takes when heading out on their bikes. It is widely known the first hour after injury is when emergency treatment is most likely to be successful. In the event of a collision, the ICE Stickers, containing vital personal information of the rider, dramatically increases the chance of faster and more effective care, when accessed by first responders.
Designed to sit on a helmet, the ICE Sticker enables first responders and members of the public to access key medical and personal information as quickly as possible following an incident. Information uploaded, by the biker during, registration can be accessed by scanning the bespoke QR code, displaying information such as allergies or medication, along with next of kin and contact details.
If you are unconscious, or unable to respond, ICE Stickers are a vital tool to help provide medical care.
Still a warm one out there! There have been so many warnings about not taking your doggos out until much later...preferably after sundown. Even then when you go out you can feel the heat coming from the buildings and the pavements!
How hot do the pavements get? Well...this pic shows how hot pavements can burn a dogs paws. There are much more horrible pictures I could have used....this one is mild!!
Travelling about, I still see dogs out in temperatures of 36 or 37 degrees!
Remember...the dog won't die if it doesn't get a walk...but it could die if walked in extreme heat!!!

Temperatures are still high, some areas have hosepipe bans, and drought has been declared in several areas. 🥵
Have you thought about playground equipment though?
Kids love going to the park...but in these Temperatures the equipment can get very hot!
This poor girl received partial thickness burns from sitting on a slide!
Please check equipment before children get on them!

Wishing The England Lionesses luck in their semi final match against Sweden tonight.
This tournament has done so much for women's football and has inspired so many young girls to take up the sport too.

Hot weather can be fatal for animals. Dogs will struggle being walked in this weather. Early morning or night time walks for your fur babies is the way forward over the summer.
Lots of hydration for all...lots of shade for all....stay safe 🥵😎

I have been a first aider myself for many years. It is something that I have always enjoyed, and something I am very passionate about. The more people that learn these skills, the more lives can be saved. This is a proven fact!
Thats the other thing about me....Self confessed Health and Safety Geek!
What can I say? From the years I spent volunteering in St Johns Ambulance, the years working as a first aider at my local ice rink, and the years I have been teaching - I have loved every minute of it.
My background career wise has been Health and Social Care working with all ages, and conditions. I went over to the training and assessing world, where I completed my teaching qualifications up to QTLS.
Cornerstone Training began in 2016. We offer training in all levels of first aid, and various health and safety related courses as well. We can also write and deliver bespoke training just for your business.

We are flexible in our approach, therefore if you need evening or weekend training, this can be done, at no extra cost to you! Your business comes first.
We are West Sussex based, we are reliable and feedback from participants of our training has always been positive.
