New Year, New Hobby?

Are you looking to develop your artistic skills this year?

I am a self taught artist and qualified and experienced teacher and I am running an exciting new Sketching and Drawing Skills evening course for beginners in Malmesbury, starting in February.

Learning to sketch is not only the foundation to develop or improve your sketching skills and then move on to painting, but it is an enjoyable and relaxing form of meditative therapy,

The course will cover:

Using pencils
Drawing shapes
Use of Shade and Light in sketching.
Mapping your sketch or drawings.
Moving on to drawing objects, still life and landscapes.

This is a six week evening course, starting Tuesday February 10th until Tuesday 24th March and will run from 6:30-9:00pm every Tuesday evening in Malmesbury.

You can find my stall selling my art work, prints, soaps, jewelry and other items at the Market Criss, Malmesbury, Wiltshire on Fridays, 9am -2pm.

I have a stall in this Friday from 9am.

My own art work, prints and cards will be on sale.

I sketch local landmarks, landscapes and animals and also offer a personalised pet sketching service that’s a wonderful way to preserve the memory of your beloved pet, or as a special gift.

My artisan handmade soaps are also on sale. These wonderful concoctions are made with essential oils and items such as activated charcoal, algae, rose, ylang ylang, tea tree, peppermint, vanilla, green tea, cocoa, coconut oil and sweet almond oil. All are soaps that have different qualities for different skin types.

I also have handmade jewelry on sale, made with both genuine crystals and recycled jewelry.

Come along if you’re searching for a gift or to treat your self.

I’m delighted to announce that from
Monday 21st July until 18th August my artwork will be on display and for sale Kandu Arts for Sustainable Development in Emery Gate, Chippenham.

Sketching is something I started as a hobby earlier this year. I’ve been ill much of this year and sketching at home has become a passion and also a form of therapy that I thoroughly enjoy.

I am so pleased to share this with the world .

A selection of my original framed sketches as well as a selection of greeting cards with prints will be on sale.

I offer a personalised, bespoke sketching service of people’s pets and also famous landscapes and scenes.

If you would like a sketch of your beloved pet as a wonderful keepsake or memory, do get in touch.

The sketch is £45 and if you would like it in a frame with a border, it’s £55.
