***** Important Notice Regarding our Saturday 4th October Covid/Flu Clinic held at the surgery. *****

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all patients who attended our recent Covid/Flu clinic. Your patience and understanding were truly appreciated during what turned out to be a challenging day.

Despite thorough planning and preparation for all foreseeable circumstances, we unfortunately faced issues beyond our control. The atrocious weather conditions and confusion surrounding scheduled appointment times disrupted the smooth running of the clinic. We deeply regret any inconvenience this may have caused.

As many of you know, our Saturday flu clinics have historically run exceptionally well, with consistently positive feedback from patients. We are proud of that track record and are committed to maintaining it.

Lessons have been learned. We will be reviewing every aspect of Saturday’s clinic that was within our control and implementing measures to ensure that next year’s Flu/Covid campaign clinics if scheduled for a weekend run as smoothly as possible.

Chirk Surgery are holding their COVID and Flu vaccine clinic this Saturday 4th October 2025.
These are pre-booked appointments. If you have an appointment, please try and come at your allocated time.
We are expecting high numbers so please allow time to travel and for parking.
Please take extra care on your journey due to the pending weather forecast.

Pregnant ladies can have a Flu vaccine at Chirk Surgery from 1st September, no appointment needed, ask at reception.

Flu & COVID Vaccination Appointments at Chirk Surgery are still available. The appointments are filling up quickly, so plan ahead and book your appointment today to avoid disappointment. We anticipate demand will be again high this year, therefore please respond to the booking link as soon as you receive it. The link is only live for 7 days. Patients aged 75 and over and eligible patients with a weakened immunity under 75 will also be offered the Covid vaccine during the same appointment. If you have not received a booking link or the booking link has expired and are eligible for a Free flu vaccine please phone Chirk Surgery 01691 772434 to book your appointment.

We are sending out booking links this week to eligible children with DOB between 01.09.2021- 31.08.2023 to book their nasal flu appointment this month.

School age children will receive their nasal flu vaccine in school.
