I am taking my own advice this year and creating space where I can. I am very busy with doula work for the first few months so have decided to only hold circle once a month in Jan, Feb & March.

There is so much to say around what is going on with maternity services at the moment. It is my honest belief that no one goes to work planning to disrespect and disregard women and yet it feels like that is what is happening over and over again. Now Midwives are being told that physiological birth it's a dangerous ideology and women are being told that what they want doesn't matter. I feel like we are living in some kind of dystopian nightmare. We shouldn't have to fight to be heard and respected in our birth space.
