Not the start of the year I was planning at all 🤣🤦‍♀️.

Some personal oppsies 🤔
Alot of stress and anxiety to over come.😬 add to that. ....
A unpromptued house move 🙈
A stinking cold I couldn't shift🥶

January ended up being a right off and hide month 🙈🤦‍♀️

However I do see the light at the end of the tunnel 🧐

The house is coming together slowly and so is my life and confidence rebuild.

🥳🥳New craft room incoming!!! 🥳🥳

Cold is shifting ... slowly ..... 😆

So this monday morning I am planning and budgeting. Time to get back on track :)

💜Meet the Artist.💜

Hello👋 and welcome to all our new Followers. Thank you for supporting my journey this year. 💜

My names Sami and i am the artist behind Samiegift💜.I always wanted a lovely set of glasses for myself but struggled to find any i liked that where made in the UK. I have always been crafty so i thought ... 'hay why not try and make my own'🤷‍♀️.

After lots of trial and error and lots of practice🤣 i finally perfected a way to have the freedom to paint my design and also seal it to the glass to make it fun functional art :).

Some of you may or may not know I am Actually a Full time Equine manager. i love my job and my horses ... but after a long day out in the wind and rain (don't we all love the great British weather :P) There is nothing i like more than curling up in my craft room and painting bright fun funky glasses.

So we say good bye to 2023. Thanks for the laughs, the tears, the ups and the downs. The beginning of every New Year is always the best time to give another chance to your neglected talents! Why not try something new or rekindle something you have not had time to do.

When the fireworks start, be thankful for your existence and for everything which made this possible!

Onwards and Upwards all!!

Today is an annual nationwide event raising awareness of small birds and other wildlife in winter and how you can help them through this tough time of year.

In honor i wanted to show you all my robin glasses. These little guys have been "flying" off the shelves this year.

🥳Thats a Wrap!!! 🥳
Samiegift is now closed untill the 8th January - we may still post but website and order books are closed.

I would just like to take this moment to thank everyone who has supported me this year.❤️ We have had many mountains to climb this year personal and professional.... from myself getting injured... to surviving the cost of living crisis... to maintaining the business and still holding down a full time job ....... but we made it !!! and will make it on to fight another year.😆💜

As well as mentioning the downs i would like to celebrate the ups!! (i usual forget to take a minuite to be proud of what i achieve so here goes.....)

This year I joined Castle Crafts Gifts in Thornbury! - What a wonderful little shop so many talented crafters and such a treasure-trove of gifts and products.

I am still going strong in Crafters Shop in Wotton. Another lovely shop just bursting with creative unique makes and gifts.

I built and launched a website !! ( we will look at extending this to shipping overseas next year ......if i can ever get my head around international shipping 🤣)

we achieved 6 successful Chistmas markets🎅 ... with just a little help from friends and family!.

Now its time to down the paints and plans and enjoy some much needed family relaxation time. i hope you all have a wonderful christmas and a happy new year and i will open again 8th january!

I know this holiday season🎅 has been hard for lots of people for different reasons but i just wanted to take a moment to celebrate all the small businesses or self employed people who have pushed hard and dug deep this year....you are all killing it🤛 !!!
