Dogs’ biscuits making😋🐶
Cooking for our beloved dogs was an engaging and funny experience for the residents at Joseph nursing and care home, triggering happy memories and chats about their past animal companions and creating a positive , collaborative atmosphere. We are waiting for a feedback and pictures from people, who received dogs biscuits for their dogs😊

Last week at Joseph nursing and care home, we celebrated “Hug a Bear Day”. Residents enjoyed a simple, comforting hug from a “visiting Teddy Bear” or their favourite cuddly toys. Some residents shared stories behind the toys and answered the question why they were so special to them.

We’d like to share some lovely moments from our Halloween party today! There was a bit for everyone: Art and craft: Colouring; Halloween quiz; Bingo; Halloween picture frame photos and more…. We had relatives and kids around as well and we all enjoyed the special Halloween “Spider Web Cake” made from our amazing chef Jithin.

We celebrated Autumn and upcoming Halloween by trying new coffee flavours today at Joseph Nursing and Care Hime. “Pumpkin Spice” coffee was on the menu for the afternoon along with mini Apple pies and lots more to choose from a selection of sweets. Residents were very pleasantly surprised by the warm spicy taste and appreciated the show making in front of them in the comfort of their own bedrooms. The activity proved to be much more popular than we expected and we will be continuing exploring and trying new tastes in the future.

Getting ready for Halloween party this year at Joseph Nursing and Care Home included Pumpkin decoration activity which took place on Friday. We embraced the ideas given by the residents and some of the staff, got involved and made a lovely pumpkins display which was very enjoyable to watch and highly appreciated.
