Lymphatic Drainage & Wood Sculpting 😍
To understand lymphatic drainage, think of your lymphatic system as the body’s drainage system.
The Fluid: Your pipes (lymph vessels) carry a clear fluid called lymph, which contains waste, toxins, and immune cells.
The Clog: Unlike your heart (which is a powerful pump for blood), the lymphatic system doesn't have its own pump. It relies on your muscles moving to push fluid along. If you are injured, sedentary, stressed, anxious or have had surgery, the fluid sits still—like a backed-up sink.
The MLD: we use very light, rhythmic skin-stretching movements to manually "push" that fluid toward your lymph nodes (the filters), essentially unclogging the drain.
