I trained to Reiki Master level with Chris Parkes at The Reiki School, and then as a Master Teacher with Ann Halstead through Reiki Evolution. My Shiatsu training was with Carol Dean at the Northern School of Shiatsu. I truly believe in the transformative power of holistic healing. I am dedicated to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for my clients. My goal is to help you achieve balance, harmony, and well-being in body, mind, and spirit. A couple of weekends ago I completed my 5 Element Reiki certification with the lovely Zoe Smith It was a wonderful experience training with her. Zoe was super supportive throughout the pre-course work, so I already felt like I knew her when we met!

9 years ago today.

Our first go at IVF.

Before the IVF was a couple of years trying, then 2 rounds of IUI.

From this round we had 5 “top grade” blastocysts, a fresh cycle, and 2 frozen cycles, all resulting in miscarriage. A referral to recurrent miscarriage clinic revealed nothing. After having a chance conversation with my gynae about painful periods, she suggested I might have endometriosis. A couple more years down the line and 2 surgeries in the bag to remove as much endometriosis as possible (turns out I do have it!) and we decided to give IVF another go.

This final round of IVF gave us 3 “low quality” blastocysts. So they put 2 blastos in to give us the best chance. Well!! 😜

Now we have twin boys who will be 4 in May!! Gosh, time flies.

I feel mostly healed from the journey I went on with this. I would never show it outwardly, but the most telling hangover is some fear whenever someone tells me they are pregnant. I just worry about them. Still working on healing those older wounds.

The work I do with energy healing and bodywork has just been beautiful for this. I can’t wait to share more of it this year.

I have found Reiki and crystal therapy compliment my shiatsu practice wonderfully. I remain a teaching assistant at the Northern School of Shiatsu, whilst I carry out my teacher training.
