On Saturday 21/06/25, I took my grandchildren (who are both neurodivergent) for their first time to Twickenham (Allianz Stadium) to watch England vs France.
*Thank you to Nimbus Disability Access Card, for making the process of acquiring tickets so much easier!
It was meant to be all about the rugby, but instead, like many others before the game, we found ourselves stuck in long queues to get our drinksโฆ in fact we stood in line for over 20 minutes! This caused us to miss the start of the match ๐
For someone like me living with mobility issues, the wait wasnโt just frustrating, it was exhausting. At halftime, the thought of going through all that again just wasnโt an option .
Now imagine what thatโs like for people with sensory sensitivities, chronic pain, neurodivergence, or who rely on support.
Crowds. Noise. Queues.
For disabled guests, this shouldnโt be โjust part of the matchday experienceโ.
Itโs another barrier.
We are building AxEdible to change that at public venues.
A mobile app built by disabled people, for disabled people, giving guests the ability to:
โ๏ธ Browse venue food & drink options in advance
โ๏ธ Order from their seats
โ๏ธ Have it delivered discreetly and accessibly
โ๏ธ Avoid the queues, noise, and chaos altogether
Because accessibility doesnโt stop at the door.
It should follow through your whole experience.
Letโs make venues more inclusive. One order at a time. ๐๐ค๐งก
