No-one talks about the strain, do they?
I get it. I felt it.
The fertility journey takes its toll in ways we don't expect, and the very person we love most in the world might become distant, maybe angry, and we start to lose connection. Loneliness can be very real, even when you're together. It's not you though, and it's not them....it's the situation you find yourself in and your nervous system trying to protect you from more hurt.
Fertility Yoga for Couples can help -
🫶 Reduce the impact of chronic stress on the body - helping to regulate hormones involved in reproduction.
🫶 Help to ease emotional load - through shared connection, mental and emotional intimacy.
🫶 Support balance of responsibility, easing pressure - feeling together, reducing feelings of loneliness and isolation.
🫶 Increase feelings of safety with each other and within the relationship, through helping reconnection at a time when disconnection is so common.
🫶 Encourage nervous system co-regulation. We absorb the energy of those we spend time with, so sharing calm and relaxation can help to reduce overwhelm and reactivity.
🫶 Promote blood and energy flow through the body, benefiting both male and female reproductive health, in a gentle accessible way. No forced shapes, no posing, no pressure.
🫶 Allow couples to feel and remember why they are together - that the relationship itself matters, having space to simply be together.
Over the next few weeks, I’m opening my diary for a small number of 1:1 and couples sessions.
These are slow, supportive spaces and absolutely not about fixing, pushing, or doing fertility “better”. Just time to soften, breathe, reconnect, and feel held together, wherever you are on the journey.
You’re very welcome to pop me a message if you’d like to ask questions, or just have a chat about this option.
