RunFit Tuesday on a Thursday 😵‍💫 🤣 A cold, windy evening on the North Coast but that didn’t deter the RunFit crew. As the saying goes “Winter miles =summer smiles”

Another Saturday of sport. Starting off at the side of a field watching the boys football to running around the fields of Owenbeg centre of excellence. Where hosted there inaugural cross country fixture. A great set up all round and well organised event. This is one I can see becoming a big part of the racing calendar. My race was 6k. 4 loops with a nice mix of lumpy agricultural ground, tight turns, short forest section, grass pitches and a few little ups and downs 👌🏻

New year, new health, habits or hobbies? Ready to kick off 2026 at parkrun with a friend?

We are celebrating Bring a Friend to parkrun weekend on 10th January. Invite a friend and help us break the record for first-timers!

parkrun is for everyone! You can run, jog, jeff or walk. You can bring your dog on a short hand held lead, your smaller person with you or a pushchair.

If you volunteer, still bring a friend to participate or volunteer alongside you. Make a morning of it and remember the coffee afterwards!
