Good afternoon all,

The withdrawal of the CP Top-Up is based on updates from the Security Industry Authority (SIA), which is replacing the current top-up qualification with the new Close Protection (Refresher) qualification on 1 October 2025. This change provides a one-month overlap between the existing top-up and the new refresher qualification.

For anyone wanting to update there CP qualification I would wait until then and that way you will have the most up to date qual, when more information becomes available I will pass this on asap.

I will be running these courses from my centre in Mochdre, North Wales.
