🥰🍁🍂October summed up at The Shire!!🍂🍁
The Shire had it's first residential Trip away with a small group of individuals to The Calvert Trust in Devon! This was a very active few days break away but was a huge success and so much fun!! More residential trips will definitely be happening in the New Year!! We all enjoyed our fundraising morning in Tesco's to raise funds for The Shire, especially seeing Trev dressed as a dinosaur! Amazing Halloween Games & Tea Party well done to all of you for taking part and for the amazing costumes!! Lots of Baking, Arts & Crafts, Quiz/Challenges, Music Sessions and enjoying the new Fundraised Pathway that's been installed especially accessing parts we usually couldn't in autumn! Not forgetting the many projects both individually and as a group!! Thank you for a fab October everyone!!🥰❤️

😍😍👏👏Check out the amazing VW Campervan made out of pallets at The Shire!! A small group of Shire attendees have worked hard together and built this amazing outdoor space for everyone to enjoy. Let's give them a huge round of applause for all their hard work and determination in creating an amazing additional undercover seating area. It's truly awesome..... Well done to all those that helped create it you should all be super proud of yourselves!!😍👏👏👏

🥰❤️Over the last couple of weeks we have all been busy tackling new projects, challenges, completing individual ideas, Cooking and enjoyed trips off-site. A Friday group visited Tesco where we all had the opportunity to learn what happens behind the scenes and experience a go on the tills! We were all made very welcome and enjoyed trying different foods in the canteen - we weren't so keen on the freezers though😂🥶! Every day is different at The Shire but it's down to you all that makes it fun and special so a massive Thank You!! 🥰❤️Wow what a busy few weeks it's been at The Shire! Animal Coffee Morning - Special Thanks to Jan and her amazing colleagues for all your help that day! Beach Party & Giant Inflatable Obstacle Course, River Walks, Ham Hill, Badminton challenges in Halstock Hall, Local Walks, Arts & Crafts, Baking, Visiting Churches and Completing /starting new projects along with loads of fun and Games!! Well done everyone for all the fun as always it's been a busy fun few weeks!! 🥰❤️

😂🏆🎖️Well we all survived the Mud Run Challenge yesterday in aid of raising funds for wheelchair pathways to be installed at The Shire!! Check out the pics at the end!!😂 Thank you everyone who took part, supported and donated towards the objective we certainly hope you enjoy the pics as much as we all enjoyed the challenge!!💕😊🥰

Animal coffee morning this Friday 8th August at Halstock village Hall (BA22 9SH) 11.30-1.30pm -
50p entry per person - Everyone's Welcome!
Come along and meet some of The Shire Animals, Join in with Arts and Crafts, Make Fruit Kebabs, Games, Face Painting and Stalls. Enjoy some Hot & Cold refreshments whilst having cuddles with our lovely animals. Tombola & raffle tickets also available to purchase. All proceeds go towards The Shire's adult day service!
