💛 We need a little help 💛
We’re currently organising a fundraising event and are looking for any donated items for an auction or raffle that will help raise vital funds for the animals in our care. Right now, we’re desperately low on funds, and with hay prices at an all-time high, we’re becoming really worried about keeping up with feeding our horses and donkeys. Hay is our biggest cost — and without it, we simply can’t do what we do.

If you’re a business, or if you know someone who might be able to donate items, experiences, vouchers or hamper, we’d be so grateful. Every single donation helps.

In autumn and winter, mice and rats begin to invade people’s houses looking for warmer places to live. Mouse and rat poisons are designed to be attractive to rodents, but they often smell and taste good to your dogs too. If you use any of these poisons, make sure they are put in places where your dog can’t reach them.

If your dog has eaten a rodenticide, it’s important that you contact your vet for advice immediately. To help them gauge whether your dog needs treatment you may need to give them:

• Details about the poison (product name, active ingredient etc)
• How much you think they have eaten
When your dog ate it
• Details about your dog (have they been unwell, what is their weight)
