An MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scan is a painless examination. It uses radio frequency waves and strong magnetic fields to create a series of detailed pictures showing ‘slices’ of the body. These images allow Clinicians to examine almost any area of your body, as well as monitor the effectiveness of previous therapies. An MRI scan can diagnose problems that cannot be assessed satisfactorily with other imaging methods, such as x-ray, ultrasound, or CT (computed tomography) scanning.
From your first contact with our referral centre, through to your appointment and scan, our team works to deliver a service that provides you with assurance at every step.
Beyond your appointment, our work does not stop. With post scan processing, image reporting, and delivery to your referring Clinician, you can be sure that the Medical Imaging Partnership team is there for you.
We understand that if you are injured and you need an MRI scan, you want it quickly and at a time convenient to you. You also want reassurance that the quality of the MRI scan is high and that the report produced will provide your health specialist with the information they need to get your treatment underway and you back on the road to recovery, fast.

Medical Imaging Partnership has been created by UK Radiologists to offer fast access to high quality, expert-led radiology services to both Private and NHS Patients.
Our services are available across a range of locations around the UK and include MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-ray and DXA scans. Our team are experts in their field, specialising in radiology and are here to help you every step of the way, making sure your scan is as comfortable and effective as possible. We are located in London, Manchester and Brighton.
We are accredited by all of the major private medical insurers and offer a competitive self-pay price.
Private Patients
We offer fast access scans and quick image turnaround times to both self pay and privately insured patients. Typically, we can see a private patient within 1-2 working days and will have images reported and back to your referring healthcare specialist or GP 1-2 days after the scan.
In order to book an appointment, we will need a referral from a health professional, this can be your GP, Consultant, Physiotherapist or Osteopath.

NHS Patients
If you are an NHS patient and would like to be scanned with us you will need to be by your GP.
Please ask your GP to refer you to us, and we will then contact you once we have the referral.
